Shipping within the United States:
We ship with the United States Postal Service to all 50 states and US territories. The shipping methods offered during checkout will differ based on your shipping address and the weight of the items being ordered. All orders are shipped insured and with tracking information. 

Shipping Internationally:
International shipping rates are calculated at checkout. International orders may be subject to customs and duty charges, which are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the original purchase price or shipping charges. We cannot provide exact delivery time frames for international destinations. Unfortunately, we cannot foresee duties charges or customs delays.

We are happy to accept returns within 30 days of the original purchase date. Items must be unused (in their original condition with all tags and labels still attached) and the original packing slip or return slip must accompany the return. All returns must be pre-approved by Salt Candy. Please email us at hello@shopsaltcandy.com to let us know which item(s) you’d like to return and we will email you with a return label.

Refunds are issued in the original form of payment and may take up to 14 business days to process. Shipping costs on the original order are not refundable. The return shipping cost will also be deducted from the refund amount.

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not match these conditions; returns that do not meet our policy will be sent back to you at your expense.

There are no refunds on sale items, including items purchased with promotional discount codes. All sale items are final sale.

Due to limited inventory, we do not provide product exchanges. Please return the product you wish to exchange and place a new order for the desired replacement product.

Turkish cotton is made from premium fibers that have a softer, plushier feel than your standard “regular” cotton. Egyptian cotton actually has longer fibers than Turkish cotton; while this does yield a high quality product, Egyptian cotton can be denser and heavier.. Egyptian cotton is also super absorbent, which is great for toweling off, but that towel will also take a loooong time to dry (cue musty odor and mildew potential).

Turkish cotton balances absorbency with a quicker drying quality, and has a lovely soft hand feel. It’s substantial without any heaviness, so you can throw on your poncho and go. Who needs real clothes?

We recommend washing in cold or lukewarm (max 30 degrees celsius) water with like colors on a gentle cycle with gentle laundry detergent, or hand washing with gentle laundry detergent. There may be minor shrinkage. Please avoid washing with grabby items like anything with a buckle, hooks/clasps, or velcro. Lay flat to dry.

Please do not bleach or use any other harsh chemicals or fabric softener. Spot treat stains with gentle laundry detergent. Speaking of detergent, excess detergent can build up and reduce the poncho’s absorbent properties. The fix: half a cup of white vinegar added to the rinse cycle every so often.

Variations in the weave should be considered characteristics of this magical fabric that we love so much (and not flaws). Pulled loops and loose threads may occur; luckily, since the fabric is loom woven, the pulled loop can be carefully cut off with scissors without unraveling the garment. Please snip the loop off with care and gently massage the surrounding area to restore fabric harmony.
